The Islamic Academy of Burlington County was officially founded in September of 2008 and is now registered with the state of New Jersey Department of Education as a private school. The formalized school was the natural progression of what had been a homeschooling network beginning in July 2005.

Currently the environment of the school is much like a homeschooling network with the advantages of a formalized structured entity. The 2009 academic year began with 16 registered students and 4 full time teachers as well as several volunteers. The school is currently offering a program that includes PreK and goes up to 5th grade. We hope to add an additional grade each school year, inshallah, and eventually move towards a complete PreK-12 program.
